Flying Thief Charters was created out of an addiction to shallow water sight fishing. From the moment I began fishing the flats I found myself enthralled with sight fishing Bonefish, Permit and Tarpon. I spent a portion of my misspent youth following the Pro Rodeo Circuit in search of that adrenaline burst that is so alluring. Since focusing my efforts on fishing the shallow waters of the Florida Keys, I've discovered there are very few bones broken in this sport yet the adrenaline rush of casting a few chicken feathers at a cruising 120# Tarpon is beyond description. The process of fishing the flats, whether on fly or spin, is an extremely enlightning experience that will put you in touch with one of the most unique ecosystems in the world.
