I was born in Miami, Florida and my parents moved to Key Largo before I turned 1. I grew up fishing the full stretch of the Keys from Dry Tortugas up to Miami. I've had my Captain's License for over 5 years now and I've always owned my own boat. I grew up living in a house on a canal in Key Largo that made for very easy access to the blue water. My mom and dad took the time to take me fishing almost every day after school and on the weekends ever since I was only a few years old.

What is most important to me is that fishing is not just a job... it is what I love to do. I go fishing even on my days off. If you would have asked me when I was 10 what I wanted to do when I grew up, I would have told you that I wanted to be a charter boat Captain.
