With over 40 years of boat handling and fishing experience, Captain Smitty is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, safety conscientious, and will take you where the fish are biting. Captain Smitty has fished the waters of the entire Eastern Atlantic Seaboard, Mexico and Venezuela. Our First Mate coordinates the cockpit from "Fish On" to the landing and/or release time. Our fishing Team will do everything possible for your party to have a successful day fishing and become part of the Spray "Fishing Family". Feel free to ask questions or partake in any fishing activities or techniques.

Guthrie · 61' · Sport Fisher · The Spray vessel is a 61 foot Guthrie, fully equipped, custom sportfisher built by legendary Master Boat Builders in Harkers Island, North Carolina. This fishing machine is powered with 2200 horsepower with Inveco Diesel Engines, the Spray is one of the fastest vessels in the Pirate's Cove fleet, comfortable and strongly constructed. The Spray contains the latest Furuno NavNet electronics with a FLIR infrared imaging system for foggy conditions. The Spray's fishing arsenal consists of Penn and Shimano equipment for lightweight, medium and heavy duty reels for the Big one. The Spray has a spacious salon and bunk area, fully air conditioned and heated with all the amenities including head, VCR, DVD, CD, stereo, microwave and refrigerator. The Spray also has Satelite TV so you can enjoy your favorite Golf tournament, ball game or Nascar race while fishing or underway.
