About

We are a professional, licensed and insured fishing guide service based in Kingsport, Tennessee, and we fish in East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Southwestern Virginia. Here in the mountains of East Tennessee are some of the best trout streams and rivers you will ever fly fish. The 14-mile long South Holston tailwater, located just east of Bristol, Tenn., is one of the finest fisheries in the southeast. The Watauga tailwater flows through the city of Elizabethton and the town of Watauga, the river's namesake. The Watauga has many different and sometimes challenging personalities along its 23-mile length. The Holston River below Kingsport, running through Church Hill, Mount Carmel, Surgoinsville and Rogersville before flowing into Cherokee Lake, is home to some of the best smallmouth fishing in the southeast.

The Lower Holston below Cherokee Dam near Jefferson City flows through the Tampico and Indian Cave areas with the trout fishing ending at Nances Ferry.

The mountain streams we fish are located in communities like Mountain City, Hampton, Roan Mountain, Shady Valley, Cosby, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. You will be able to experience breathtaking views and beautiful, wild fish.

Wading trips are done in the streams and rivers of East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Southwestern Virginia. We can wade the tailwaters if the generation schedule is in our favor, or we can fish on the medium, stocked creeks or small, secluded wild trout streams. The secluded streams will require some hiking and additional gear may be needed.
